Sanya Malhotra is an Indian actor, model, and dancer. She is renowned for her role as “Babita Phogat” in 2016 Blockbuster movie “Dangal”. Besides being an excellent actress, she is a trained versatile dancer and choreographer.
Sanya Malhotra was born on February 25, 1992, in Delhi, India to Sunil Malhotra & Renu Malhotra. Her father is an engineer by profession and her mother is a housewife. She was bought up along with her elder sister, Shagun Malhotra. She belongs to a middle-class Punjabi Khatri family.
Sanya completed her primary school from Ryan International School, Mayur Vihar, Delhi. During her childhood, she suffered from a stammering problem, which she had overcome gradually with time. Sanya finished her graduation from Gargi College, University of Delhi, New Delhi.
She has always been excited about dance and is trained in ballet dancing form. As a child, she used to be influenced by Bollywood programs and portrayed her acting abilities at the theatre plays in Delhi.
Currently, Sanya is a single and independent lady who remains busy with her work. It seems she has full focus on her career rather than stuck in any relationship.
